Hello, I’m Émilie.
I founded Sun Day in Bordeaux in February 2024, and I’ve spent every season since planning wedding weekends for couples who live a long way from here: London, Texas, Canada, Australia.
Most of them start with the same thing: a château they saw online and a feeling they can’t quite describe. My job is to turn that feeling into three days that look and sound like them.
Who’s coming? Who should sit next to whom? What do you want your guests to remember on the flight home?

Why Sun Day?
Sun Day means a sunny day: the light, warm kind of day I want every wedding weekend to feel like. And, like a Sunday, it should leave you with nothing to do but enjoy it.
Behind the name, a simple way of working: listening first, planning carefully, and staying calm on the day so you don’t have to think about a thing.

My way of working.
Personal. I take on a limited number of weddings each season. You deal with me from the first call to the final morning.
Rooted in the South West. Florists, caterers, winemakers and makers from the region, many of them small independent studios. Choosing them is part of the design.
Honest. Clear budgets, realistic timelines and advice you can trust, even when it isn’t what you expected to hear.
